Pool Result Today Saturday Week 15 Pool Result for Sat 14 Oct 2023 – UK 2023/2024

The Premier League and Championship break for international friendlies and Euro 2024 qualifiers, which feature alongside League One and Two fixtures. We’ve looked through the games and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five matches we think have the potential to end in a possible draw.

1 – Carlisle v Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient have won four and drawn three of their last seven visits to Carlisle. Theo Archibald scored twice in Leyton Orient’s 3-2 victory in this fixture last season.

Jordan Gibson’s hat-trick helped Carlisle end their winless run in League One and win 3-1 at Bolton last weekend. The Cumbrians had drawn three and lost two of their previous five league fixtures.

Leyton Orient have only lost one of their last six matches in all competitions, which was a 1-0 defeat to Fleetwood in their last away game. They scored a 90th minute winner to beat Reading 2-1 last weekend.

23 Carlisle wins

23 Leyton Orient wins

15 Draws

5 – Forest Green v Colchester

Forest Green are currently rock-bottom in League Two and Colchester are 3-points and three places above. Forest Green have won the last three times they’ve hosted Colchester by 1-0, 3-0, 2-0.

Forest Green have lost their last six league matches, but only failed to score in one of those defeats. They had 15 shots with 5 on target, but were beaten 2-1 visiting Accrington last weekend.

Colchester have lost four of their last five matches, including a 3-1 defeat hosting 10-man Morecambe last weekend. They’ve only managed one victory from their last eight away games.

5 Forest Green wins

4 Colchester wins

12 – Walsall v Gillingham

17th placed Walsall welcome 3rd placed Gillingham in League Two. Walsall won this fixture 2-0 last season and the teams drew 0-0 in the reverse.

Walsall have only lost one of their five league home games this season, they’ve won two and drawn two. They should be eager to return to home turf after being thrashed 4-0 at Sutton last weekend.

Gillingham started their League Two campaign with four wins on the bounce, but have since struggled for consistency. They won 2-1 hosting MK Dons last Saturday, but have suffered defeats in their last three league games on the road.

45 Walsall wins

45 Gillingham wins

18 – Hungary v Serbia

Hungary and Serbia are battling for the top spot in Group G of Euro 2024 qualifying and are level on points, although Hungary has played one game fewer. Hungary came from behind to win 2-1 in the reverse fixture last month.

Hungary are unbeaten in their last eight matches, consisting of five wins and three draws. After their victory over Serbia they drew 1-1 in a friendly with Czech Republic last month.

Serbia’s defeat to Hungary last month is their only loss in seven matches, they’ve enjoyed five wins in that run. Most recently Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Lithuania.
