This Week Pool Result 2022: Week 33 Pool Result for Sat 19 Feb 2022 – UK 2021/2022

Recent performances from Manchester United don’t inspire much confidence in taking full points from a visit to Leeds, who will be hoping to avenge their opening day 5-1 defeat at Old Trafford. The Foxes take on the Wolves at Molineux and Blackburn attempt to revitalise their promotion push hosting Millwall in the Championship. We’ve provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for 5 fixtures we think have the potential to end in a draw.

5 – Leeds v Man Utd

A Bruno Fernandes hat-trick propelled Manchester United to a 5-1 victory over Leeds at Old Trafford in their opening Premier League game of the season.

Leeds have been involved in some thrillers recently, winning 3-2 at West Ham and drawing 3-3 with Aston Villa. However, they’ve also lost twice in their last three fixtures, they were beaten 1-0 by Newcastle and most recently lost 3-0 at Everton.

Manchester United have also suffered from inconsistency, they beat 10-man Brighton 2-0 on Tuesday, but were held to draws of 1-1 with Burnley and Southampton in their two previous Premier League matches.

95 League Encounters

23 Leeds wins

39 Man Utd wins

33 Draws

9 – Wolves v Leicester

Leicester got the better of Wolves at the start of the season with Jamie Vardy’s first-half strike giving the Foxes a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium.

Wolves have won four of their last five Premier League matches and leapfrogged Tottenham to move to 7th in the table with a 2-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday.

Leicester narrowly missed out on 3-points when they conceded in the 90th minute to draw 2-2 hosting West Ham last weekend. The Foxes have earned just 2-points in their last four Premier League matches.

109 League Encounters

37 Wolves wins

38 Leicester wins

34 Draws

10 – Blackburn v Millwall

Ben Brereton Diaz equalised for Blackburn in their 1-1 draw away at Millwall near the start of the season.

Blackburn are 4-points off 2nd placed Bournemouth in the Championship table, but are winless in their last four fixtures (2D, 2L). They drew 0-0 visiting West Brom on Monday evening.

Millwall have won three of their last five league games, including a 2-0 victory over QPR on Tuesday. Most of their success has come at The Den and they’ve won just one of their last eight away games.

43 League Encounters

22 Blackburn wins

10 Millwall wins

11 Draws

12 – Cardiff v Blackpool

Cardiff’s visit to Blackpool in August was their first meeting in six years, the Bluebirds came away 2-0 winners.

Cardiff continued their recent resurgence with a 2-0 victory hosting Coventry on Tuesday, the Bluebirds have now won four of their last five league games.

Blackpool were beaten for the first time in six Championship matches in a 2-1 loss to automatic promotion candidates Bournemouth last weekend.

71 League Encounters

18 Cardiff wins

33 Blackpool wins

20 Draws

29 – Sunderland v MK Dons

There are currently just 2-points between Sunderland in 4th and MK Dons in 3rd in the League One table. The Black Cats won 2-1 in the reverse fixture back in August.

Sunderland ended a run of three straight defeats with a 1-1 draw away at AFC Wimbledon last weekend. They have fared better at home with four wins in their last six league fixtures at the Stadium of Light.

MK Dons have drawn their last two league games with Fleetwood (1-1) and Ipswich (0-0), but that followed three wins on the spin to extend their unbeaten run five games.
