Euro 2024 qualifiers, Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the USA’s MLS feature this weekend. We’ve looked through the games and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five fixtures we think have the potential to end in a draw.

Iceland v Slovakia

Iceland and Slovakia meet in Group J for a Euro 2024 qualifier. Their last encounter was a friendly back in 2015 which Slovakia hosted and came from behind to win 3-1.

Iceland played their first two Euro 2024 qualifiers back in March and lost the first 3-0 to Bosnia-Herzegovina, but then thrashed Liechtenstein 7-0. Four of their last six competitive matches on home turf have ended in a draw.

Slovakia have drawn four of their last five matches. Back in March they drew their first Euro 2024 qualifier 0-0 with Luxembourg, before winning 2-0 hosting Bosnia-Herzegovina.

3 Encounters (since 2008)

1 Iceland win

1 Slovakia win

1 Draw

Norway v Scotland

Norway and Scotland last met in a friendly in Molde back in 2013. Scott Brown scored just after the hour mark to get Scotland a 1-0 win.

Norway were beaten 3-0 visiting Spain and were held to a 1-1 draw visiting Georgia in their first two Euro 2024 qualifiers, but they’ve only lost one of their last twelve matches at home.

Scotland’s Euro 2024 qualifying got off to a great start with a 3-0 win over Cyprus and a 2-0 win over Spain. Scott McTominay scored twice in each game.

11 Encounters (since 1978)

2 Norway wins

5 Scotland wins

4 Draws

Turkey v Wales

Aaron Ramsey and Connor Roberts scored the goals in Wales’ 2-0 win over Turkey in the group stage of Euro 2020.

Prior to taking on Latvia on Friday, Turkey had lost just two of their last ten matches. They started their Euro 2024 qualifying with a 2-1 win over Armenia, before losing 2-0 to Croatia.

Wales will come into this after taking on Armenia at the Cardiff City Stadium. Back in March they drew their first Euro 2024 qualifier 1-1 with Croatia, before Kieffer Moore scored the only goal in their 1-0 victory over Latvia.

7 Encounters (since 1978)

2 Turkey wins

4 Wales wins

1 Draw

Kansas City v Los Angeles FC

Los Angeles FC have won three of their last four encounters with Sporting Kansas City, but the reverse of this fixture last month finished 1-1.

Sporting Kansas City are unbeaten in their last four matches, consisting of three wins at home and a 1-1 draw away at Vancouver Whitecaps. They won 4-1 hosting Austin last weekend.

Los Angeles were beaten 4-0 visiting Houston Dynamo last weekend, but that’s one of only two defeats in fourteen league matches this season. They will come into this after playing Houston again midweek.

10 Encounters (since 2018)

4 Kansas City wins

5 Los Angeles FC wins

1 Draw

New York City FC v Columbus Crew

New York City beat Columbus Crew 2-0 in this fixture last season, Columbus were 3-2 winners in the reverse.

New York City are winless in their last nine matches in all competitions, but three of the last five have ended in a stalemate.

Columbus Crew are looking for a fourth consecutive victory after success over Colorado Rapids (3-2), Charlotte (4-2) and Chicago Fire (2-1).
