The final round of fixtures take place in the Premier League this weekend and in form Crystal Palace host Champions League qualifiers Aston Villa. Newcastle are still in the hunt for European football, but can’t afford to drop points when they visit Brentford. We’ve looked through the games and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five matches we think have the potential to end in a draw.

2 – Brentford vs Newcastle

Brentford and Newcastle meet at the Gtech Community Stadium for their final Premier League game of the season. Callum Wilson’s penalty gave the Magpies a 1-0 win in the reverse fixture.

Brentford have only lost one of their last eight matches, but four of their last five at home have ended in a stalemate. The Bees return to home turf after Yoane Wissa’s 95th minute winner gave them a 2-1 victory at Bournemouth last weekend.

Newcastle are looking to finish at least 6th, but have Chelsea level on points beneath them (prior to midweek fixtures). The Magpies were held to a 1-1 draw hosting Brighton last weekend.
