The final round of fixtures take place in the Premier League this weekend and in form Crystal Palace host Champions League qualifiers Aston Villa. Newcastle are still in the hunt for European football, but can’t afford to drop points when they visit Brentford. We’ve looked through the games and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five matches we think have the potential to end in a draw.

Brentford and Newcastle meet at the Gtech Community Stadium for their final Premier League game of the season. Callum Wilson’s penalty gave the Magpies a 1-0 win in the reverse fixture.
Brentford have only lost one of their last eight matches, but four of their last five at home have ended in a stalemate. The Bees return to home turf after Yoane Wissa’s 95th minute winner gave them a 2-1 victory at Bournemouth last weekend.
Newcastle are looking to finish at least 6th, but have Chelsea level on points beneath them (prior to midweek fixtures). The Magpies were held to a 1-1 draw hosting Brighton last weekend.

Aston Villa beat Crystal Palace 3-1 in the reverse fixture back in September, but they lost by that score on their last visit to Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace are finishing the season in fine form. The Eagles are unbeaten in their last six matches, with five of those ending in victory.
Aston Villa have secured Champions League football for the first time, but are winless in their last five matches (3L, 2D). They fought back to draw 3-3 hosting Liverpool in the latest.

21 – Real Betis vs Real Sociedad
Three of the last four league meetings between Real Betis and Real Sociedad have ended in a draw. It finished 0-0 when they met in the reverse fixture back in December.
Betis are unbeaten in their last five matches (4W, 1D) prior to their midweek visit to Las Palmas. They edged a 3-2 victory hosting Almeria last weekend to hold on to 6th place.
Real Sociedad are 1-point off Betis, prior to a midweek fixture with Valencia. They had gone unbeaten in three away games before losing 2-0 at Barcelona last weekend.

Jude Bellingham’s opening goal sent Real Madrid on their way to a 4-1 victory over Villarreal back in December.
Villarreal still have an outside chance of finishing in either a Europa League or Europa Conference League spot. They made it four wins in five matches with a 1-0 victory away at Girona on Tuesday evening.
La Liga champions Real Madrid went thirty league matches unbeaten with a 5-0 victory hosting Alaves on Tuesday. They have two more league matches before heading to Wembley for the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.

The relegation battle heats up as 1-point separates Udinese (15th) and Empoli (18th) with two games remaining in the Italian Serie A. It finished 0-0 when these two met in October.
