The Scottish League Cup competition continues this weekend and Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton host League One Alloa Athletic. They last met competitively in the Championship in the 2020-21 season, in three encounters Morton won 1-0 followed by two draws of 1-1

In three League Cup matches this season Morton have lost away at East Fife (3-0) and St Johnstone (2-0), but beat Brechin 1-0 in their home game.

Partick Thistle’s last visit to Motherwell ended in a 1-1 draw back in 2018. Their last encounter was a friendly in 2022 which Motherwell won 1-0 away.

Premiership side Motherwell have won all three of their group matches, beating Edinburgh City 3-0, Montrose 2-1 and Clyde 3-1.

Partick beat Montrose 3-2 in their opening group game, then thrashed Edinburgh City 6-0 last weekend, but on Tuesday they conceded 4-minutes from time to lose 3-2 hosting Clyde.

Elfsborg vs Djurgaarden

4th host 2nd when Elfsborg and Djurgaarden meet in the Swedish Allsvenskan this weekend. Djurgaarden won 2-0 in the reverse fixture back in May.

Elfsborg have found some form and won their last three league games on the bounce, beating Brommapojkarna 3-0, Hacken 5-3 and Mjallby 3-1.
