The Premier League should provide some entertaining fixtures over the Bank Holiday weekend and some close encounters across the Football League. We’ve looked through the fixtures and provided head-to-head statistics for five matches we think have the potential to end in a draw.
1 – Aston Villa vs Arsenal
Aston Villa managed to win their opening fixture of the season thanks to super substitute Jhon Duran. All six of Duran’s Premier League goals have been as a substitute and he will be one to watch in this weekend’s fixture against Arsenal.
Arsenal looked comfortable winners against Wolves in their opening fixture at the Emirates but the trip to Villa Park to play an in-form Aston Villa will not be an easy one.
Last 5 Premier League Encounters:
2 Aston Villa Wins
3 Arsenal Wins

4 – Crystal Palace vs West Ham
West Ham will travel down to South London off the back of their home defeat to Aston Villa in their season opener. They will be hoping for a better result against Crystal Palace, who themselves lost their opening fixture to Brentford.
Crystal Palace will be hoping to keep in demand defender Marc Guehi when the transfer window closes and will be looking for a strong defensive display against an attacking West Ham side.

5 – Fulham vs Leicester
Leicester marked their return to the Premier League on Monday by holding Tottenham to 1-1 draw and could make things difficult for Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Fulham only narrowly lost to Manchester United in their season opener away at Old Trafford. They will be looking for a better result in their first home game of the season against newly promoted Leicester.

8 – Southampton vs Nottingham Forest
Southampton only narrowly lost to a ten-man Newcastle in a heated encounter at St James’ Park. Chilean international Ben Brereton Diaz will be one to watch again this week at St Mary’s as he looks to score his first goal of this season’s Premier League campaign.
Nottingham Forest managed a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth at the City Ground and will be hoping to go one better on their trip down to the south coast.

15 – Norwich vs Sheffield United
Norwich and Sheffield United will both be looking for promotion this year. Norwich lost out in the play-offs last season to Leeds and will be hoping for a better finish this year. Sheffield United will be aiming to bounce back to the Premier League after a difficult last season in the top tier.
Norwich have still to record a win in this season’s Championship but at Carrow Road they will be looking to turn that around for their home fans.
Sheffield United drew last weekend at Bramall Lane against QPR and will be aiming to go one better than that when they travel to East Anglia.
