A clash between unbeaten sides Tottenham and Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend should be an entertaining contest. While in the Championship, Swansea finally got a win on the board and will hope to carry the momentum into a visit to Millwall. We’ve looked through the games on coupon and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five matches we think have the potential to end in a draw.

5 – Tottenham v Liverpool

Both Tottenham and Liverpool will aim to preserve their unbeaten starts when they meet in the Premier League this weekend. Liverpool won both league encounters with Spurs last season, winning 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and 4-3 at Anfield.

Tottenham have won four and drawn two of their six Premier League matches. They return home after an entertaining 2-2 draw at North London rivals Arsenal.

Prior to a midweek EFL Cup tie with Leicester, Liverpool have won their last six matches on the trot, including a 3-1 victory at LASK Linz in the Europa League and a 3-1 win over West Ham at Anfield last weekend.

160 League Encounters

42 Tottenham wins

77 Liverpool wins

41 Draws

12 – Millwall v Swansea

Millwall beat Swansea 2-1 in this fixture last season, but the Lions needed two stoppage-time own goals to draw 2-2 in the reverse.

Millwall have two wins and two losses from their four league matches at The Den this season. They beat Rotherham 3-0 in their last home game, before a goalless draw away at West Brom last Saturday.

Swansea claimed their first Championship win of the season with a 3-0 victory hosting Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. Three of their previous seven league fixtures have ended in a draw, including a 1-1 stalemate at QPR in their last game on the road.

50 League Encounters

19 Millwall wins

19 Swansea wins

12 Draws

15 – Queen Park Rangers v Coventry

Coventry completed a league double over QPR in the Championship last season, winning 2-0 at home and 3-0 at Loftus Road.

QPR’s last win was at Middlesbrough (2-0) in early September, they’ve since lost 3-1 to Sunderland before back-to-back draws with Swansea (1-1) and Birmingham (0-0).

Coventry have not won a game since beating Middlesbrough 3-0 in mid-August. Five of their six league games since have ended in a draw. They conceded in the 94th minute to share the spoils with Huddersfield (1-1) on Monday.

110 League Encounters

38 QPR wins

45 Coventry wins

27 Draws

25 – Shrewsbury v Charlton

Charlton won 1-0 visiting Shrewsbury in League One last season and thrashed them 6-0 in the reverse fixture.

Shrewsbury are looking to stop the rot of three straight league defeats and will take some reassurance from four wins in their last six home games.

Charlton are unbeaten in their last three league games, consisting of wins over Fleetwood (2-1) and Wycombe (3-1) either side of a 1-1 draw at high-flyers Stevenage.

28 League Encounters

8 Shrewsbury wins

11 Charlton wins

9 Draws

33 – Colchester v Notts County

Colchester and Notts County have not met since the 2018-2019 season, when they drew 0-0 and 3-3 in their League Two encounters.

Colchester have managed just two wins from eight league matches this season. They drew 1-1 with 3rd placed Mansfield in their last league home game, before losing 2-1 away at Crewe last weekend.

Leaders Notts County have gone unbeaten in League Two since their opening day 5-1 defeat to Sutton, with six wins and two draws in their following eight league fixtures. They came out on top in a 4-3 thriller with Forest Green last weekend.
