Both sides may have to be content with a point when Leeds and Crystal Palace meet at Elland Road, while Bournemouth can take another step towards safety by avoiding defeat at Leicester. We’ve provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five fixtures we think have the potential to end in a pool draw.

4 – Leeds v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 at Selhurst Park back in October. Palace are 12th and currently just 1-point and one place above their hosts.

Leeds moved 2-points clear of the drop zone with a 2-1 hosting Nottingham Forest on Tuesday. They’ve lost just one of their last seven matches at Elland Road.

Crystal Palace beat Leicester 2-1 last Saturday in Roy Hodgson’s first game as returning manager. The result ended a thirteen-match winless run for the Eagles.

5 – Leicester v Bournemouth

Bournemouth have only lost two of their eleven meetings with Leicester in the Premier League, they’ve won four and drawn five. The Cherries won 2-1 when they met at the Vitality Stadium in October.

Leicester have only picked up 1-point in their last seven Premier League matches. Manager Brendan Rodgers was sacked after their 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace last weekend. On Tuesday they narrowly lost 2-1 hosting Aston Villa.

Bournemouth climbed out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 over Fulham last weekend, but failed to keep momentum and dropped back in after a 2-0 loss to Brighton on Tuesday.

7 Bournemouth wins

16 – Hull v Millwall

Hull and Millwall played out a goalless draw when they met in the reverse fixture in November. The Tigers won 2-1 in the corresponding fixture last season.

Hull have only suffered one defeat in their last nine Championship matches at home and that was to runaway leaders Burnley. Last weekend they were forced to share the spoils in a 0-0 draw hosting Rotherham.

Millwall have avoided defeat in their last four away games, picking up wins at Stoke (1-0) and Reading (1-0) and drawing with Luton (2-2) and West Brom (0-0).

21 – Wigan v Swansea

Swansea found themselves 2-0 down after 16-minutes in the reverse fixture with Wigan, but fought back to draw 2-2 in November.

Wigan are unbeaten in their last five home games, consisting of a 1-0 win over Huddersfield, followed by draws with Norwich (0-0), Birmingham (1-1) and Coventry (1-1) and a 1-0 win hosting QPR last weekend.

Swansea scored a late winner to beat Cardiff 3-2 away last weekend, ending their run of four straight defeats on the road.

27 League Encounters

9 Wigan wins

12 Swansea wins

6 Draws

31 – Port Vale v Oxford Utd.

Port Vale will be hoping to avoid a repeat of their 4-0 loss to Oxford United in the reverse fixture back in November.

In their last four home games Port Vale enjoyed back-to-back wins over Exeter (1-0) and MK Dons (1-0), before back-to-back losses to Burton (3-2) and Cambridge (2-0).

Oxford United are winless in their last seven away games (4L, 3D). They drew with Morecambe (1-1) and Peterborough (0-0) in the last two.
