A point may suit both Everton and Brentford when they meet in the Premier League this weekend. While the action heats up in League One and Two with the final round of fixtures. We’ve looked through the games and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five matches we think have the potential to end in a draw.
3 – Everton vs Brentford
Everton (16th) welcome Brentford (15th) to Goodison Park in the Premier League this weekend. The Toffees won 3-1 visiting the Gtech Community Stadium back in September.
Everton took a big step towards alleviating relegation fears with a 2-0 win hosting fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest last weekend. The Toffees will host Brentford after their midweek Merseyside derby with Liverpool.
Brentford have followed three straight draws with back-to-back wins to go unbeaten in their last five matches. The Bees’ 5-1 win at Luton last Saturday put them 10-points clear of the relegation zone.

After their triumphant 1-0 win at Liverpool, Crystal Palace carried the momentum back to Selhurst Park last weekend to thrash West Ham 5-2. The Eagles scored four goals within the first 31-minutes.

Sheffield Wednesday moved out of the bottom three and 1-point clear with a 3-1 win at Blackburn last weekend. Their last three home games have finished in draws with Swansea (1-1), Norwich (2-2) and Stoke (1-1).

Sunderland have drawn with Leeds (0-0) and beaten West Brom (1-0) in their last two games on the road, but lost 1-0 hosting Millwall last weekend.

26 – Peterborough vs Bolton
Peterborough and Bolton meet for their final League One game of the season. It finished 1-1 when they met in the reverse fixture in September, but Bolton won 5-0 visiting the Posh last season.
Peterborough are already assured a play-off spot. After back-to-back wins over Fleetwood (4-1) and Bristol Rovers (2-0), the Posh were beaten 2-0 at relegation threatened Cheltenham on Tuesday.
This is a must-win for Bolton if they are to have any chance of beating Derby to 2nd place and securing automatic promotion. The Trotters will arrive unbeaten in their last six matches (3W, 3D) and most recently beat Port Vale 2-0.
