Bournemouth can extend Chelsea’s winless streak in the Premier League this weekend, while Arsenal could struggle to stay at the top of the table when they visit in-form Newcastle. We’ve looked through the games in our Classic Pools competition and provided recent form and head-to-head statistics for five fixtures we think have the potential to end in a draw.

1 – Bournemouth v Chelsea

Chelsea won the reverse fixture 2-0 back in December, but the Blues were held to a 2-2 draw on their last visit to the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth have been steering themselves towards safety by winning four of their last five matches. They most recently thrashed Leeds 4-1, which moved the Cherries up to 13th and 10-points clear of the drop zone.

Chelsea’s winless run was extended to nine matches in a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Tuesday. The Blues have earned just 2-points in their last seven league fixtures.

6 – Newcastle v Arsenal

Newcastle and Arsenal played out a 0-0 draw when they met in the reverse fixture at the beginning of the year. Both teams won by 2-0 at home when they met last season.

Newcastle have won eight of their last ten Premier League matches, they’ve beaten Tottenham (6-1), Everton (4-1) and Southampton (3-1) in the last three on the bounce.

Arsenal returned to the top of the table with a 3-1 win hosting Chelsea on Tuesday, but it was the first win in five matches for the Gunners. Three games in that run have ended in a stalemate.

10 – Wolves v Aston Villa

Wolves and Aston Villa drew 1-1 when they met at Villa Park in January. Danny Ings’ late equaliser cancelled out Daniel Podence’s opener.

Wolves were taken apart in a 6-0 defeat at Brighton last weekend, but they’ve beaten Chelsea (1-0), Brentford (2-0) and Crystal Palace (2-0) in their last three matches at Molineux.

Aston Villa’s 10-match unbeaten run (8W, 2D) ended in a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United last Sunday. Villa sit 7th and remain in the running for European football next season.

47 Aston Villa wins

15 – Middlesbrough v Coventry

Middlesbrough have won three of their last five meetings with Coventry. The Sky Blues have won two, including the reverse fixture this season which finished 1-0 in October.

Middlesbrough are assured a play-off spot and have won three of their last four home games. They return to the Riverside Stadium after back-to-back defeats on the road to Luton (2-1) and Rotherham (1-0).

Coventry took a step closer to securing a play-off spot with a 2-0 victory hosting Birmingham last weekend. The Sky Blues are unbeaten in their last six matches (3W, 3D).

47 League Encounters

15 Middlesbrough wins

18 Coventry wins

20 – Swansea v West Brom

Swansea scored an 89th minute winner to clinch a 3-2 victory over West Brom at The Hawthorns back in October.

Swansea are unbeaten in their last eight matches (6W, 2D), but a 1-1 draw at Hull last weekend means they cannot finish in the play-off positions.

West Brom need a win to have any chance of snatching a play-off spot. They picked up a third win in five matches with a 2-1 victory hosting Norwich last Saturday.

20 Swansea wins

16 West Brom wins
