Ayr United were winless in their final seven matches last season, drawing four and losing three.

11 – Partick v Dunfermline

Their most recent encounters were in the Scottish Championship during the 2019-20 season. Dunfermline won the first two meetings (3-0 away, 5-1 at home), before a 1-1 draw at Partick in the final clash back in March last year.

Patrick Thistle have played three pre-season friendlies, winning 3-2 at Kelty Hearts and 2-1 at East Kilbride, before a 1-0 loss hosting Premiership side Rangers on Monday.

After a 0-0 draw in the first-leg, Dunfermline lost 2-0 away at Raith Rovers in their play-off quarter-final back in May. They’ve since drawn 2-2 in a pre-season friendly with Lowland League side Civil Service Strollers.

27 Partick wins

37 Dunfermline wins

17 – Halmstad v Djurgaarden

Halmstad and Djurgaarden haven’t since 2017, Djurgaarden won both Allsvenskan encounters that year 1-0 away and 2-1 at home.

Halmstad are unbeaten in their four league home games this season, but three have ended in draws. They drew 1-1 away at Hammarby last weekend, drawing for the third time in four league fixtures.

Leaders Djurgaarden have only lost one of their nine league matches this season, they’ve won six and drawn two. They go on the road after a 3-0 win hosting Orebro.

33 Encounters (since 1999)

9 Halmstad wins

19 Djurgaarden wins

5 Draws

21 – Mjallby v Norrkoping

Mjallby avoided defeat in their two league encounters with Norrkoping last season, they won 2-0 at home and drew 1-1 away.

Mjallby lost 2-1 at Sirius last weekend, but three of their last four fixtures have ended in stalemates and they could do enough to earn a point back on home turf.

Norrkoping ended their three-game winless run by narrowly beating defending champions Malmo 3-2 last weekend.

22 Encounters (since 2001)

7 Mjallby wins

8 Norrkoping wins

7 Draws

22 – Ostersund v IFK Gothenburg

When they met in Sweden’s top-flight last season Gothenburg were held a 2-2 draw at home, but won 4-0 on their visit to Ostersund.

Ostersund have suffered five defeats in their last six league matches, but should be encouraged after beating Sirius 3-0 in their last home game.

Gothenburg have made drawing a habit this season with six of their nine league fixtures ending all square.

10 Encounters (since 2016)

3 Ostersund wins

4 Gothenburg wins

3 Draws

24 – Mjoendalen v Haugesund

Mjoendalen won 1-0 hosting Haugesund in Norway’s Eliteserien last season and drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture.

Mjoendalen have only managed one win from their nine league matches this season and that was a 3-0 victory at Sandefjord in their league opener in May. They’ve drawn four and lost four of their following eight matches.

Haugesund have struggled to maximise points on the road, taking just 2-points in four league away games. However, they arrive at Mjoendalen unbeaten in four league fixtures (3W, 1D).

10 Encounters (since 2009)

3 Mjoendalen wins

3 Haugesund wins

26 – Rosenborg v Kristiansund BK

Both Eliteserien meetings between Rosenborg and Kristiansund finished 0-0 last season. They met for a warm-up match in April which Rosenborg won 3-0 on home turf.

Rosenborg have struggled for consistency with four wins, four draws and four defeats in their twelve league matches. They come into this winless in five, following three straight defeats with back-to-back stalemates.

Kristiansund are unbeaten in their last three league matches, they drew with Mjoendalen (1-1) and Tromso (0-0) before edging a 3-2 victory over bottom of the table Brann on Monday.

14 Encounters (since 2008)

6 Rosenborg wins

1 Kristiansund win

7 Draws

34 – Fortaleza v Corinthians

Corinthians have won five and drawn three of their last eight Brazilian Serie A matches with Fortaleza. They drew both encounters last season (1-1, 0-0).

Prior to a midweek meeting with Atletico Mineiro, Fortaleza went unbeaten in ten home games across all competitions (6W, 4D).

Corinthians will visit Chapecoense midweek and go into that fixture with four draws and a win in their last five matches. Corinthians’ 80th minute equaliser rescued them a point in 1-1 draw hosting Internacional last weekend.

12 Encounters (since 2003)

1 Fortaleza win

8 Corinthians wins

3 Draws

38 – Sao Paulo v Bahia

Bahia threw away a victory by conceding in the 86th minute to draw 1-1 in this fixture last season and were beaten 3-1 by Sao Paulo in the reverse.

Sao Paulo were beaten for the first time in seven home games in a 2-1 loss to current leaders Bragantino last weekend.

Bahia have only lost one of their last five away games and that took a 90th minute goal for them to lose 3-2 away at Palmeiras last month.

25 Encounters (since 2000)

9 Sao Paulo wins

9 Bahia wins

7 Draws

47 – Strommen v Stjoerdals Blink

The only other meetings between Strommen and Stjoerdals Blink were in Norway’s second tier OBOS-Ligaen last season. Stjoerdals Blink won 2-1 at home and drew 1-1 away.

Strommen come into this fixture looking to extend a five-match unbeaten run in Norway’s OBOS-Ligaen, consisting of two wins and three draws. They’ve kept just one clean sheet in that run.

Stjoerdals Blink have suffered seven defeats in their ten league matches this season, but picked up their third victory with a 2-0 win hosting Grorud on Monday.
