It’s the final day of the 2022-2023 Premier League season this Sunday and Leeds need a win over Tottenham at Elland Road to have any chance of avoiding relegation. Aston Villa will aim to take the Europa Conference League spot when they host Brighton, while Crystal Palace and a now safe Nottingham Forest play out a dead rubber. Aston Villa and Brighton meet for their final Premier League game of the season. Villa came from behind to beat Brighton 2-1 at the Amex Stadium back in November.

Aston Villa sit just 1-point above 8th placed Tottenham and need a win to ensure they take the Europa Conference League spot. They beat Spurs 2-1 in their last home game and conceded in the 89th minute to draw 1-1 at Liverpool last Saturday.

Brighton’s 3-1 win over Southampton on Sunday and superior goal difference to Villa, means they are all but assured of Europa League football next season. They will come into this after hosting title winners Manchester City in their midweek fixture.

5 – Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest

A goal from Morgan Gibbs-White gave Nottingham Forest a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in the reverse fixture back in November.

Crystal Palace drew 2-2 at Fulham last Saturday and are unbeaten in their last four matches at Selhurst park (3W, 1D). A brace from Eberechi Eze gave the Eagles a 2-0 win over Bournemouth in their last match on home turf.

Nottingham Forest secured their Premier League status with a 1-0 win hosting Arsenal last Saturday and have lost just one of their last five matches. They drew their last away game 2-2 at Chelsea.

Two late goals from Rodrigo Bentancur saw Tottenham come from behind and beat Leeds 4-3 in an energetic encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November.

Leeds need a win to have any chance of avoiding the drop. They’ve drawn with Leicester (1-1) and Newcastle (2-2) in their last two matches at Elland Road, but lost 3-1 visiting West Ham last Sunday.

Tottenham will aim to salvage something from a disappointing season by finishing in the Europa Conference League spot, but sit 1-point off 7th placed Aston Villa. They’ve suffered five defeats in their last seven matches, including a 3-1 loss hosting Brentford last weekend.

22 – Sevilla v Real Madrid

Sevilla and Real Madrid meet for their penultimate La Liga game of the season. Real Madrid were 3-1 winners in the reverse fixture back in October.

Sevilla will go into their midweek fixture at Elche unbeaten in their last five matches (3W, 2D). They reached the Europa League final after beating Juventus 2-1 following extra time last week and then drew 0-0 hosting Real Betis in La Liga on Sunday.

Real Madrid will look to bounce back from their 4-0 semi-final defeat to Man City in the Champions League and a 1-0 defeat at Valencia in La Liga on Sunday. They will host Rayo Vallecano midweek before taking on Sevilla.
