Chelsea were unbeaten in seven matches prior to hosting Arsenal midweek. Last weekend they came from behind to beat Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad.

A 4-2 defeat hosting Newcastle in the Premier League last week was Leicester’s first loss in five matches. The Foxes bounced back with a 2-1 win away at Manchester United on Tuesday.

2 – Brighton v West Ham

The last four encounters between Brighton and West Ham have all ended in score draws (2-2, 1-1, 3-3, 2-2).

Brighton lost 2-1 at Wolves last weekend, but have done enough to secure Premier League football for next season. The Seagulls are unbeaten in their last three home games, they beat Newcastle 3-0, drew 0-0 with Everton and beat Leeds 2-0.

After winning 2-1 away at Burnley last week, West Ham then lost 1-0 hosting Everton on Sunday, which leaves the Hammers 5-points off the top-4.

4 – Crystal Palace v Aston Villa

Aston Villa beat Crystal Palace 3-0 in the reverse fixture this season, but they’ve only managed one win from their last eight Premier League visits to Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace have suffered four defeats in their last five matches, but have faced Chelsea, Leicester and Manchester City in that time. They return home after losing 3-1 at Southampton on Tuesday.

Aston Villa have faced Sheffield United, Newcastle, Liverpool and Everton in their last four away games. Their only victory in that run was a 2-1 win over the Toffees at the start of the month.

15 – Boreham Wood v Wrexham

Wrexham won 2-1 in the reverse fixture back in October. Their visit to Boreham Wood in the curtailed 2019-2020 season finished in a 2-2 draw.

With 16 draws in 38 games, no team have drawn more than Boreham Wood in the National League this season. They come into this after winning 5-1 hosting King’s Lynn, followed by a 1-0 win at Halifax.

Wrexham are currently 9th and arrive unbeaten in their last six matches (4W, 2D). They won 3-0 hosting Yeovil last Saturday.

19 – Maidenhead v Sutton Utd

Sutton won the reverse fixture 3-0 this season, but Maidenhead have won the previous five league encounters between the teams at 2-0, 2-1, 1-0, 1-0, 3-0.

Despite going down to 10-men at the end of the first-half, Maidenhead won 4-2 away at Hartlepool last weekend. They couldn’t continue the success and were beaten 4-0 hosting Notts County on Tuesday.

Sutton made it four wins in five matches with a 3-2 victory over Woking on Tuesday, but they were beaten 3-2 by Notts County in their last away game.

Sevilla won the reverse fixture 2-0 in December, their last visit to Villarreal ended in a 2-2 draw.

Villarreal have only won two of their last nine league matches at home, they’ve drawn two and lost five. Last weekend they had two players sent off in a 4-2 defeat hosting Celta Vigo.

Sevilla are unbeaten in their last six away games (3W, 3D), last weekend they denied Real Madrid the top spot by drawing 2-2 at Real’s Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium.

Both league encounters in their shared stadium finished 1-1 last season. Lazio won 3-0 as the designated home side this term.

Roma head into their midweek fixture with Inter Milan following their 3-2 win hosting Manchester United in the Europa League (but lost 8-5 on aggregate) and a 5-0 victory over Crotone in the Italian Serie A last Sunday.

Lazio have won six and lost two of their last eight matches prior to a midweek encounter with Parma.
